About the event

Yoga Tools for Birth Workshop

This workshop is designed for couples to develop a personalised toolkit of yoga techniques that can support the birthing process.

Together, couples explore active birth techniques such as breath, movement, touch, and vocalising to find a selection of tools that are right for them. The golden hour and the fourth trimester are also discussed.

The workshop is designed to be hands-on and fun. After just two hours, couples leave the workshop feeling relaxed, connected, and ready with the tools to make their birth experience their own.

Cost is $200 per couple. Private sessions valued at $350 are also available and make a great gift.

The next workshop is on Saturday 1 November 2pm- 4pm at the Midwives House, 678 High St, Thornbury.

Created by midwives Tessa Stogian and Samantha Rouse, The Midwives House is where women, families, and practitioners come together in care and community.

The Midwives House acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and gather. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their ongoing connection to Country, culture and community.
